Always remember to place your outside rug in an area where there is little to no moisture that is present. If you live in an area where it rains or snows often it’s best to remove the rug while the snow or rainy season is present. The area rug could be placed on the inside during these seasons to help prevent the dirt from coming into the house. When moisture is present and the outside rug has become wet, it’s best to remove the rug and place it where it can be completely dried. If mold is present try a mixture of half water and half vinegar to remove the stain. If this doesn’t remove the stain then it’s time to call a professional rug cleaner.
